Vanessa brings over 20 years of experience supporting children and families and holds an associate degree in Early Childhood Education. Her background includes roles in daycare and in school districts, as well as work as a special education teacher's aide and respite care provider. She has worked with children of all ages and values learning and growing alongside them. Outside of work, she volunteers as a Girl Scout troop co-leader and helps with events hosted by the Sheboygan Jaycees. She has three grown children and she and her fiance enjoy attending music concerts when possible.

Diana joined the childcare field in 2023 and earned a Lead Teacher certificate through the Wisconsin Registry. She is the mother of one son and a homemaker. She enjoys the outdoors, spending time with her family and cooking for them.

Makenzie enjoys working with children and finds great joy in supporting their growth. Her experience includes babysitting, volunteering at a summer camp and teaching safety through the Safety Town program. Outside of work, she enjoys being outdoors and staying active. She currently plays volleyball and softball and she also likes to bake and cook. She is most fulfilled by seeing children's smiles and knowing she has made a positive difference in their day.

Originally from Maine, Jacklyn moved to Wisconsin in 2023. Outside of work, Jacklyn enjoys fishing and caring for one dog, two cats and a fish. Jacklyn completed a year of early childhood education, where engaging with children in the classroom made the days fly.

Emilia attends George D. Warnier High School and enjoys helping create an engaging environment where children can learn and grow.

Zuzu is a junior at Warner High School. She enjoys working with children and helping others, bringing a friendly and supportive presence to her role as a Youth Apprentice.

Leah is a junior at Sheboygan North High School. She is active in cheerleading, coaching the Junior Raiders and recently joined Youth Tutoring Youth. Leah plans to pursue a career in early elementary education.

Rebbecca is a former hairdresser with over 25 years of experience, transitioning to the role of Executive Assistant to enjoy a more stationary work environment. She shares her life with her husband and four beloved pets. In her leisure time, Rebbecca appreciates the beauty of Door County, relishes motorcycle rides and enjoys exploring culinary delights.

Takyla is an undergraduate student at Lakeland University, where she is majoring in Education and minoring in Mathematics. She has worked with children for about two to three years, with experience supporting kindergarten through fifth grade students. Takyla enjoys learning from her coursework, the teachers she shadows and the children she works with. She is excited to bring that curiosity and classroom experience to the AMD family.

Lainee is currently a senior at Oostburg High School, where she is dedicated to nurturing and supporting others.

Addison is currently a senior at Sheboygan North High School and has a strong affinity for volleyball and outdoor activities. With three years of experience as a camp counselor, Addison finds joy in helping children create lasting memories. Addison aspires to pursue a career in elementary education or special education, demonstrating a commitment to fostering children's growth and development.

Aleena is an Assistant Teacher with hands-on experience that began early, babysitting younger cousins and family friends, shadowing her mother, an elementary school secretary and later working as a nanny. She completed child development courses and graduated in 2022, building a strong foundation for dependable care. Aleena has been part of AMD for the past two years and appreciates the center's collaborative environment. While pursuing a nursing degree, she brings steady, attentive support to the classroom and helps children feel safe, engaged and confident.

Jayden has always had a strong affinity for working with children. As a junior in high school, she has recently begun her journey with Youth Tutoring Youth. Jayden aspires to pursue a career in teaching with a focus on special education, demonstrating her commitment to nurturing and supporting the diverse needs of young learners.

Cora is a dedicated student at UW-Green Bay, pursuing a degree in Elementary Education. Originally from Oostburg, she enjoys camping and the outdoors and is committed to helping children learn and grow. As a Lead Teacher, she looks forward to bringing her enthusiasm for teaching and appreciation for nature into the classroom.

After 10 years of providing childcare in her home, Angel is proud to step up to the role of Executive Director and help create a kind and warm environment for families in need of care and support. She was recognized three years running at a National Parent Support Convention as a Parent Leader (2003-2006) and continues to be an advocate for children and healthy families. She was honored as Insight magazine's Difference Maker in 2024 and brings her passion to work with her everyday.

Angel is a proud mother of two grown sons and lives with her husband Matt in Sheboygan. Through her experiences as a mother of a child with special needs and a struggling single parent prior to meeting her husband, she learned firsthand how challenging parenting can be.

Angel is fiercely dedicated to bringing this vision of a childhood education and care center to the county she had grown to love in the hope that every family has the support that they need to raise happy and healthy children.

Sierra serves as a Lead Teacher. A 2025 high school graduate, she plans to pursue a career in social work and believes every child deserves the support to overcome challenges and thrive.

Shoua is a Lead Teacher who prioritizes a safe, engaging environment for every child. She finds it rewarding to support children as they grow and achieve developmental milestones. Shoua is currently a college student with plans to pursue a career in speech pathology and participates in AMD's ongoing training and continuing education to keep learning and growing. Outside of work, she has studied hip hop dance for five years and counting, a creative outlet that helps her express her emotions. She is committed to being the best teacher she can be for the children in her care.

Liz serves as a Lead Teacher with a strong record of working with children. By completing her high school credits early, she attended Lakeshore Technical College during her junior year and earned a technical diploma in Nursing Assistance and Early Childhood Development. She has devoted much of her career to supporting individuals with special needs across all ages and has spent the past five years in a variety of childcare settings. A Chicago native, Liz has called Sheboygan home for the past 17 years. Outside of work, she enjoys painting, reading and caring for her "mini zoo" of four cats, a leopard gecko and a guinea pig.

Carolaynne is a Lead Teacher with a degree in early childhood education from the University of the Atlantic in Colombia. A native Spanish speaker, she continues to build her English skills. She has worked with children for about eight years and has been part of A Million Dreamz for nearly two years. She plans to continue advancing her training in early childhood education. Carolaynne values the meaningful work here and takes pride in seeing children reach developmental milestones, knowing she played a supportive part in their progress.

Nevaeh is a Lead Teacher committed to fostering a supportive and engaging environment for children. With a deep-rooted passion for child development, she looks forward to building meaningful relationships with each child, empowering them as they grow and learn.

Madeline is a Lead Teacher from Cleveland who graduated from North High School in 2025 and is currently attending UW-Green Bay, where she is working toward a degree in Elementary Education. With experience working with children since the age of 11, she is excited to continue building toward her future as an elementary teacher.

Katlin has been working as a teacher for one year and looks forward to a lifelong career in education. She believes that children learn most effectively through imaginative play and creative exploration.

Jasminn is a dedicated professional who serves as a Lead Teacher at our childcare center. She is a committed wife and mother of two children, aged 11 and 5. In her personal time, she enjoys exploring literature and cherishing moments spent with her family.

Jamie is a nurturing individual whose commitment to caring for children is integral to her identity. She holds a bachelor's degree in early childhood education and a master's degree in special education. Since 1999, Jamie has dedicated herself to early childhood special education and possesses a solid foundation in applied behavior analysis.

Recognizing that all behavior serves as a form of communication, Jamie is proficient in nonverbal communication and has extensive expertise in augmentative and alternative communication methods. She understands the critical impact of early childhood experiences, particularly from birth to age 8, on the brain's development, which lays the groundwork for future learning, behavior and health. By fostering strong foundations, Jamie aims to equip children with the essential skills needed to become well-rounded adults, eagerly anticipating the opportunity to guide your child(ren) on their journey.

In her view, no challenge is too large and no victory is too small.

Beth is a retired educator and school counselor from Milwaukee. Now based in Sheboygan, she lives with her husband and their English Bulldog, Daisy. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a lifetime teaching license through grade 8, along with a Master's degree in Educational Psychology. Throughout her career, she has supported young learners' success and now focuses on guiding childcare teachers to deliver high-quality, certified care that fosters each child's growth. Outside of work, she enjoys camping, cooking, baking and time with her children and grandchildren.

Leah is a devoted mother of three and a proud grandmother, committed to ensuring quality and nurturing care for all children. As a key member of AMD since its inception, she collaborates closely with the administration to implement our innovative model of care. Leah resides in Sheboygan with her husband, twin teenagers, cat and dog.

Amanda is a dedicated wife and mother, as well as a seasoned special educator with over 15 years of experience working with children of all ages. She values quality time with her family, which includes her wife, their four children, two teddy bear dogs and two cats. In her leisure time, Amanda enjoys coloring and reading. She is thrilled to contribute to the AMD family and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children.
